Ration Card New Rules 15 July: Now all the poor people will get all these rations

Many families in the country have ration cards and receive free rations under the ration card scheme. Ration cards are also used for various government schemes, benefiting millions of people. However, some young people are unaware of the rules and their ration cards get canceled. To avoid this, everyone must complete the e-KYC process as it is mandatory.

For those with Antyodaya (AAY) category ration cards, the benefits include:

  • 35 kg of food grains per card
  • An additional quota of 5 kg of food grains per person
  • One kit per ration card containing:
    • 1 liter of refined oil
    • 1 kg of chickpeas (chole)
    • 1 kg of salt
    • 1 kg of sugar
    • Spices
    • 2 bars of soap

If you do not complete e-KYC as per government guidelines, your name will be removed from the ration card list, and your ration card will be canceled. This means you will no longer receive free rations. Therefore, it is essential to complete e-KYC to ensure your ration card remains active.
