Natasa and her son Agastya had left Mumbai barely hours before the news came. According to the press, “After four years together, Hardik and I have decided to part ways.” Hardik and Natasa tried our best and gave it our all, believing this was best for both of us. This was a hard decision for us because of the happiness, respect, and friendship we shared as we built our family.”

Natasa and Hardik turned off comments when posting the news, but people on the internet still found ways to express their opinions.
As soon as the news was shared, Natasa received a new wave of negative comments on social media, just like she did when she first removed Pandya from her last name on Instagram.
How much property will Natasa take from Hardik Pandya?
If both the husband and wife jointly own a property, the wife can claim her share from the husband’s part, in addition to her 50% share. Natasa can claim her share from the husband’s part, besides the 50% share in her name. She can also stay in the property until the divorce is finalized.
If the property is only in the husband’s name and paid for by him, it’s considered his property. However, if they separate, the wife can still ask for maintenance as she is a legal heir.
If the wife has helped pay for a property in the husband’s name, she must prove her contributions to claim a share. Without proof, the husband may claim the property.
Properties bought by the wife with her own money are hers alone. She can sell, keep, or gift these properties as she likes. Lakhotia says any property bought by a woman with her own money, before or after marriage, will be hers to manage.
To protect assets in case of divorce, careful planning is needed. Keep separate bank accounts, record pre-marriage assets, and use trusts to manage assets. Tiwari suggests detailed records of assets owned before marriage and separate bank accounts to separate personal wealth from marital property.
