Gurucharan Singh, an actor from the popular TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, returned home on May 17 after being missing since April 22. The Delhi Police recorded his statement in court. Gurucharan Singh explained that he had left home to go on a spiritual journey. Singh is a very well-known actor for playing the character Roshan Singh Sodhi in the hit TV series.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Sodhi Gurucharan Singh has returned home
Gurucharan Singh, from *Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah*, surprised many by his interest in meditation and a trip to the Himalayas. People knew him as a dedicated actor and family man.
Gurucharan Singh said he needed a break from everyday life to focus on spirituality. Singh went on a spiritual trip to Himachal. He admitted he should have told his family and friends to avoid causing worry.
The situation became tense when he didn’t take his flight from Delhi to Mumbai. This led to concerns about his safety. Hargit Singh, who is Gurucharan’s father, filed a missing report on April 26 in New Delhi. The authorities took it very seriously.
The Delhi Police started looking for Singh on April 22. His father called the police when he couldn’t reach him. Many police teams, including the Crime Branch and Special Cell, joined the search. They checked his bank transactions. The last one was ₹14,000, taken out on the day he went missing. To search Singh, the Police went to a lot of states, like Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand etc.
An officer mentioned that Singh had talked about going to the Himalayas for meditation. This helped guide the search.
Singh returned on May 17, bringing relief to his family and fans. His father thanked the police for finding him. Fans were also tensed about Singh, so they sent him support messages too.
Gurucharan Singh has been missing since April 22
The Delhi Police started searching for Gurucharan Singh on April 22. The 51-year-old actor was supposed to fly from Delhi to Mumbai that evening but never arrived. His father, who lives in Palam, reported him missing when he couldn’t reach him by phone.
A lot of Police personnel, including the Crime Branch and Special Cell, were searching for Gurucharan Singh. The police checked his financial transactions from bank accounts and credit cards. The last recorded transaction was ₹14,000, which he withdrew on the day he went missing.
The police also visited several states, including Haryana, Punjab, and Uttarakhand, to find any clues.
A few days ago, an officer mentioned to the media that Gurucharan Singh had previously expressed interest in going to the Himalayas for meditation.
