Commercial LPG cylinders decreased, all the prices are here

State-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) have decreased the prices of commercial 19 kg LPG cylinders by Rs 19 per cylinder starting from Wednesday, May 1, 2024. This means businesses and commercial firms will now pay less for their cooking gas.

In the national capital, that is Delhi, the price of a 19 kg cylinder has come down to Rs 1,745.50, compared to Rs 1,764.50 last month. Similarly, in Mumbai, the price has been lowered to Rs 1,698.50 from Rs 1,717.50 previously. It’s good news for businesses as they can save some money on their operating costs.

The latest prices for 19 kg LPG cylinders in different metros are as follows:

– Delhi: Rs 1,745.50

– Mumbai: Rs 1,698.50

– Kolkata: Rs 1,859

– Chennai: Rs 1,911

These prices have been reduced by state-backed oil marketing companies (OMCs) in response to the fall in global oil prices, which are used as benchmarks for domestic fuel prices.

The drop in oil prices happened because there’s more oil stored in the US. People are feeling hopeful about a ceasefire happening in the Middle East. These two things led to a decrease in oil prices globally.
