Bhavesh Bhandari and his wife, who live in Himmatnagar, Gujarat, did something extraordinary. They gave away all the money they earned in their lives, about Rs 200 crore, to become Jain monks. This happened in February. Later this month, they will officially become monks. Interestingly, their 16-year-old son and 19-year-old daughter became monks in 2022.
Bhavesh Bhandari and his wife donated 200 crore to adopt monks
They gave away almost ₹200 crore and decided to become monks. This happened in February. They will officially become monks in a ceremony on April 22nd. As monks, they have to give up all family ties and possessions. They can only keep two white garments, a bowl for alms, and a white broom called “rajoharan.” This shows their commitment to non-violence.

Bhavesh Bhandari and his wife’s earnings source of 200 crores?
Bhavesh Bhandari is a successful businessman based in Gujarat. He has been running a construction company in Gujrat. He decided to give all the money he earned in his life, which is 200 crores, to become a monk. This shows that he wants to live a simple life without money or anything. Bhavesh and his wife’s decision to become a monk is a big change in their lives.

How Bhavesh Bhandari and his wife motivated to adopt monkshood
Last year, there was this big news about Dipesh Shah and his wife, Pika Shah, from Surat. They were super rich because of their diamond business. But then, out of nowhere, they decided to give up all their money and become monks! They even got their 12-year-old son, Bhagyaratna Vijayji, to join them! And get this, their daughter had already become a monk way back in 2009.
Then, in 2017, there was another couple from Madhya Pradesh, Sumit Rathore and Anamika Rathore. They were also rich, like Dipesh and Pika. But they too decided to become monks and left their three-year-old daughter with her grandparents.
The story of those couples who gave up everything to become monks inspired Bhavesh Bhandari and his wife, a wealthy couple from Gujarat. Just like them, Bhavesh and his wife decided to donate all their life savings, which was 200 crores, and adopt monkhood.
