This happened in February. Later this month, they will officially become monks. Interestingly, their 16-year-old son and 19-year-old daughter became monks in 2022.

As monks, they have to give up all family ties and possessions. They can only keep two white garments, a bowl for alms, and a white broom called “rajoharan.” This shows their commitment to non-violence.
