From there he studied mechanical engineering. But his passion lies in the field of Economics and Political Science in which he has earned a bachelor’s degree.

In 2014, he made his first YouTube video on his YouTube channel Dhruv Rathee. He took an active interest in politics during the Anna Hazare movement in 2011. Only after this, the idea of starting a YouTube channel came to his mind.
