What is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna ?
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna is a central sector program that is 100% funded by the Indian government.
It has been in force since 1.12.2018. Under the scheme, all land-owning farming families are granted an income support of `6,000/- per annum in three equal installments.
For the purpose of this scheme, a family is defined as a husband, wife, and minor children.
The State Government and the UT Administration will identify the farmer families eligible for assistance as per the guidelines of the scheme. The funds will be transferred directly.
