India Defeated Australia: Cricketing action is back as India and Australia are clashing in a bilateral T20 series. This is a 5-match bilateral T20 series that will be played in India.
Surya Kumar Yadav is leading the Indian Cricket Team. While from Australia Mathew Wade is leading the side. India defeated Australia by 44 runs in the 2nd t20 played at Thiruvananthapuram.
India Defeated Australia
India displayed an all-round performance in the second t20. They clicked in all three departments i.e. bowling, fielding, and batting. Putting into bat by Australia, India put a big score of 235/4.
India was off to a flier with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad making 77 runs for the 1st wicket partnership in 5.5 overs. Jaiswal made a quick 25-ball 53 before getting out. After the departure of Jaiswal Ishan Kishan joined Gaikwad.
Ishan and Gaikwad built an 87-run partnership for the second wicket. Ishan scored 52 at a good pace while Gaikwad scored 58 with a healthy strike rate.
Rinku Singh made a quick fire 31 from 9 balls ensuring India reached a good final score. From the Australian side, Nathan Ellis took 3 wickets and Marcus Stoinis picked one.
Chasing a mammoth 236, Australia was restricted to 191 for 9 wickets in 20 overs. Ravi Bishnoi(3/32) struck a double blow in the powerplay as Australia lost 4 wickets for just 58 runs.
Glenn Maxwell(12) went for cheaply as well. Then, Marcus Stoinis led the chase while attacking the Indian bowling attack. But Mukesh Kumar (1/45) short Marcus’s innings for 45 to give the breakthrough.
Prasidh Krishna added 3 wickets to this name. A stellar bowling performance led India to defeat Australia by 44 runs in the second T20.

Positives for the Men in Blue:
The Men in Blue had a lot of positives. Because all three departments are performing well. While the Indian skipper Surya Kumar Yadav led from the front. And Rinku Singh played with good temperament in the final over.
But notably, the Indian team is missing the services of Hardik Pandya who got injured during the ICC World Cup 2023. Senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been absent from the T20 side since the end of the 2022 T20 world cup.
