Indian Independence Day-15th August: The date of August 15 is a great national festival for India. In history, August 15 is considered the greatest victory and achievement of the country.
On this day, the country received freedom from the British and India became independent. Previously, the East India Company had come to India during the era of kings and emperors .
They had taken its place here. After that, the rule of the British government in India began. Indians remained slaves in their own country and were forced to obey the orders of the British government.
However, many freedom fighters raised their voice to demand independence and finally, India became an independent nation on August 15, 1947.
