  • It can be dangerous for the liver and in many cases severe. To avoid this, there is a vaccine.

  • Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is also transmitted by blood and is usually passed from one infected person to another.

Hepatitis D (HD)

  • The hepatitis D virus (HDV) requires that the affected persons are already infected with hepatitis B, since it can only be infected with the B virus.
  • HD is also known as DD, and this disease is also dangerous to the liver.

Hepatitis E (HE) 

  • Hepatitis E virus (HEV) is transmitted via the faecal-oral route, which is associated with poor dietary habits.
