Easy Shahi Paneer Recipe in Desi Style

Shahi Paneer Recipe is a delicious recipe. Shahi means sweet, so this recipe is slightly sweet. This recipe is prepared by cutting paneer into small pieces and cooking it in a gravy.

Vegetarian or non-vegetarian, everyone likes it. Vegetarians especially like to eat it. As delicious as it tastes, it is also easy to prepare.

 I always cook desi style and village style. I put very little oil and spices in the food, because too spicy food is harmful to health.

This is how the food is cooked in a middle class family. I always add Everest brand shahi paneer masala to shahi paneer recipe.

Because all kinds of spices like cumin, coriander and garam masala are mixed in it. In this way I do not have to add different spices.

Shahi Paneer Recipe Ingredients

  • Paneer-250gm
  • Red tomato-6 nos.
  • Onion-3nos. medium size
  • Garlic-5pieces
  • Ginger-small pieces
  • Magaz-1spoon
  • Kaju-5pieces
  • Bay leaf-1no
  • Turmeric powder-as required
  • Salt-as required
  • Refined Oil or butter
  • Kasuri methi
  • Cream or molai or condensed milk or Amul-1 cup 
  • Shahi paneer masala
  • Chilly-as you like

  • Tomato is to be cut into two pieces.
  • Onion is to be cut into two pieces.
  • Paneer is to be cut into cube size.

Preparation of Gravy for Shahi Paneer Recipe

  1. First of all, put tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger, kaju, magaz and chili in a pot and boil with a little water.
  2. After it is well cooked, it must be cooled and grinded.
  3. Then, strain the gravy using a strainer to make the shahi paneer silky and tasty.
  4.  For now, keep the gravy aside.

Easy Shahi Paneer Recipe Process/Method

  1. At first, pour oil or butter intoto a pan and heat it.
  2. Put bay leaf and paneer cubes in the pan and fry it lightly.
  3. After the paneer turns light brown, pour the gravy intoto the pan.
  4. Then add turmeric powder and mix it.
  5. Gravy is to cook on low flame only because there are chances of gravy burning.
  6. You can add water to the gravy according to the consistency you want.
  7. Add shahi paneer masala 1 spoon or as spicy as you like.
  8. Add salt and kasuri methi.
  9. At the end, mix cream or molai or condensed milk or Amul as you like.
  10. Boil for 5 minutes on low flame only and turn off the gas.
  11. Now ready to serve shahi paneer curry.
