My kitchen is very simple like a middle-class family can cook and eat healthy food and spend a healthy life. Because healthy food makes a healthy life.
Today I also prepared healthy food. This is how our family eats every day, and I want to share it with everyone.
Dahi Pakhal recipe(Watered curd rice)
Dahi Pakhal is a mixture of curd (dahi) and watered rice. Usually, the rice is cooked in the same way as the water.
After cooking, the rice water is not poured away. The cooked rice is cooled. After cooling, the curd is added to the watered rice after tadka.
If you want, you can mix the curd into the watered rice without tadka. Now dahi pakhal is ready to serve. In India, Odisha state is very famous for pakhal, dahi pakhal, or watered curd rice.
Health Benefits
Dahi (curd) contains probiotics or live bacteria such as Lactobacillus.
These bacteria strengthen the digestive system and relieve symptoms such as flatulence, irritable bowel syndrome, dysentery, constipation, gastrointestinal disorders, and diarrhea.
Rice is rich in carbohydrates, which are considered the most important element in providing energy to the body. Dahi pakhal helps to keep the stomach cool.
